6 Summer bucket list destinations

Long time no see isn’t it? I do apologise! I have been super busy getting myself ready for 6 weeks summer holidays and preparing my new lifestyle and book blog too. I’ll leave a link to that at the end of this post.

We are well into the summer season now and while I have a few Staycations planned this year due to the Pandemic, I still wanted to share with you six places from my growing list of destinations to explore.

Shall we dive straight into the list?

6 summer bucket list destinations

Santorini, Greece ~ Santorini is probably one of the most Instagramed destinations I have seen on my feed in a very long time, not that I blame anyone! It’s well known for its white buildings and blue-topped churches.

Dominican Republic ~ The Dominican Republic is a Caribbean nation that shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti to the west. While hurricane season usually runs from June to November, its best to keep an eye on the weather records.

Belize City, Belize ~ Belize City is a port city in the Central American country of Belize. It’s divided into north and south sides by Haulover Creek, which opens into the Caribbean Sea. Cave kayaking is definitely something I want to try!

Crete, Greece ~ Another Greek Island but how could I not include this one! Crete is the largest of the Greek islands and is a paradise for tourists seeking sunshine, beaches, and culture. Hiking Samaria Gorge looks like a dream!

Mallorca, Spain ~ One that most of my friends have travelled too. Mallorca is one of Spain’s Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean. It’s known for beach resorts, sheltered coves, limestone mountains and Roman remains. This means its a perfect place for me to go and explore some history as well as experiencing Cuevas del Drach.

Florence, Italy ~ Last but certainly not least on my list is the gorgeous Florence. I wouldn’t say no to a trip through the vineyards, learning how to ride a vespa and spending my mornings waltzing around galleries.

While I won’t be making any trips on a plane this year, I’ll be saving away to make sure I visit a few of these next summer! Do you think we’ll be able to travel freely in 2022?

Have you been to any of my summer bucket list places? If yes, where have you been and what do you recommend? I’d love to read all about your adventures, send me a link to your post if you’ve written one.

If you haven’t been to any of these paces, do any of them grab your attention? Where would you go first?

Thank you so much for reading today’s post, I hope you’ve enjoyed it. Be sure to leave a like and follow me too (gosh this sounds a little like a YouTube outro doesn’t it). I will be back very soon with another travel inspired post. In the meantime, here’s my new Book and Lifestyle blog AlannaxJean
