Hello,
Welcome back to another post. The weather has to make its mind up! I want the heatwave to come back, of course I’ll complain about it being too hot but at least then I can go out and enjoy my summer break.
Today, I wanted to share my favourite three places in the UK, more specifically in/near kent to have a picnic. I love packing my picnic basket full of goodies and heading to somehwere scenic, with great company to indulge ourselves.
My top 3 picnic locations
Wye Downs – Wye, Kent
After discovering Wye from an Instagam account I follow, I have fallen in love with the views. I visited a few times during the lockdown ease last year, and I’ve spent a lot of time there this year too.
Moon watching while having a picnic is something I can definitely reccommend. Sunset picnics are equally as beautiful.
Camber Sands, East Sussex
This is my favourite beach to go to, like ever! I have been going here with my dad for years, it’s what I call “my happy place”. From a picnic in amoungst the rocks as the tide comes in (which is something I did t the beginning of the month), to climbing the sand dunes for the perfect spot, Camber is the best versitile beach to visit.

Mote Park, Maidstone Kent
I have lost count of how many times I have visited Mote Park. With it being roughly twenty minutes away, it seems to be everyone’s go to place. You can pitch up a picnic spot in one of the many fields that surround the bench and enjoy the surrounding views. There’s little fishing stations you could try to have a picnic on if you’re feeling brave enough. I haven’t tried it personally but I know a few people who have.
There we have it, my top 3 picnic locations. Let me know if you have visited these places for a picnic before if you plan on visiting one of these soon. Maybe I’ll bump into you.
Thank you for reading today’s blog post, if you enjoy my content be sure to follow, like and comment. I will be back next Monday with a brand new post.
Until then,
Stay safe.
